Millos Kaiser is a DJ, avid vinyl collector and one half of the Brazilian duo Selvagem. He was born in Rio de Janeiro and has lived in São Paulo for eight years. In 2010, he initiated a night party there with his partner Trepanado, which once a month attracts thousands of people to public spaces in the city centre. Overall, Kaiser's profession practically called for a compilation of outstanding dance numbers from his native country. With the album "Onda De Amor," this is now possible. It combines 16 rarities among synth jams, samba boogie, balearic and electro tracks from artists unknown in our country such as Ricardo Bomba, Villa Box, Fogo Baiano, Electric Boogies and Batista Junior. On the album "Onda De Amor", Kaiser explicitly focuses on the years 1984 to 94. "It's about doing justice to those songs," Kaiser says of his motivation. "Songs that combine all the right ingredients that should have gotten them on radio playlists when I was growing up, or at least in the case of the more adventurous DJs." Although the decade produced a number of creative achievements in the Brazilian pop scene, they soon fell back into obscurity outside of South America. In that regard, even connoisseurs of the subject are likely to find unknown gems on "Onda De Amor."
