Sacred Duets" is the two singers' first joint album from 2017, focusing on mostly unknown arias and duets from oratorios by Alessandro Scarlatti, Giovanni Paolo Colonna, Giovanni Gabrieli, Antonio Lotti, Giovanni Battista Bonnoncini, Bernardo Pasquini and Antonio Caldara, among others. Rial and Sabadus are assisted in the "Sacred Duets" by a special ensemble. The Basel Chamber Orchestra, known for its historical practice with baroque instruments, proved to be the ideal partner for the new album. Two of the most beautiful baroque voices in the world on one album for the first time: Nuria Rial and Valer Sabadus present "Sacred Duets" in 2017.
