"I'm Your Fan: The Songs of Leonard Cohen" is a tribute album to LEONARD COHEN, originally released in 1991 by the French music magazine Le Inrockuptibles. The album features COHEN songs performed by some of the biggest names in rock music at the time. The title is a pun on COHEN's album "I'm Your Man". Included are two different versions of "Tower Of Song" - one by ROBERT FORSTER and the other by NICK CAVE AND THE BAD SEEDS. The second version is a radical reinterpretation of the song that was written during the band's hour-long jam session. Of particular note are the versions of "First We'll Take Manhatten" by R.E.M. and "I Can't Forget" by the PIXIES.
