"Future Sounds Of Jazz Vol. 14" features 28 tracks from Move D, Roman Flugel, Slowdive, Isolée, Cobblestone Jazz, Luke Abbott and remixes from Avalon Emerson, Russ Gabriel, Kassem Moss, I:Cube and many more (including three exclusive and previously unreleased tracks). This is a new chapter of the legendary "Future Sounds Of Jazz" series: this time the tracks were not selected by Michael Reinboth, but by Benjamin Fröhlich and Tom Bioly, the founders and initiators of the Permanent Vacation project. The reason is that both are good friends of the Compost family and have excellent taste and a wide musical knowledge. They are connoisseurs of rarities while always open to jazzy, delightful electronic hybrids. Moreover, they are both from Munich, as well as Compost Records. The fourteenth volume may be a little different musically from the previous thirteen releases, but it is fully in line with the original idea of the open spirit of this series. It's also a good time for a change. Enjoy! FSOJ 14 is released in a 2 CD / 4 LP package on vinyl. CD 1 is a bit more clubby, CD 2 more electronic/downbeat; both are definitely a joy to listen to! Several magazines consider FSOJ one of the best compilation series of all time. Since the first compilation in 1995, the genre term "Future Jazz" has characterized this series.
