The Greek composer Vangelis is considered one of the most successful pioneers of electronic music, and he came to the attention of the general public thanks to his film hits "Chariots of Fire", "1492: Conquest of Paradise" and "Blade Runner". The musician has been fascinated by the vastness of space since childhood and has already worked out his enthusiasm for galactic phenomena on several albums. With 11 brand new and previously unreleased tracks, Decca now presents exclusive solo piano versions of his most popular hits, including Chariots of Fire and Blade Runner. The digital singles will be released in three stages at dusk throughout the winter, following the lunar cycle and key events of the astronomical calendar, on December 7, January 11 and January 18. The individual works are intended to reflect the phase of the moon at the time of publication.
