Brubeck arranged the songs on the album by measure, starting with "It's a Raggy Waltz" on 3-4 time and ending with "Blue Shadows in the Street" on 9/4 time. The album "Time Further Out" was generally considered to be on par with the album "Time Out" and reached number 8 on the Billboard chart. Dave Brubeck has become a legend with his work and has always spiced his music with a good dose of humor.
