Sepultura: Machine Messiah LTD versie op CD/DVD in limited editie. Deze specifieke uitgave werd uitgebracht in Europa bij uitgeverij Nuclear Blast op 20. januari 2017.
Sepultura on the robotization of the world "Machine Messiah" is the fourteenth studio album by the Brazilian thrash metal legends and thus the successor to 2013's "The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart". A total of ten new tracks await on "Machine Messiah", which primarily deal with the increasing robotization of society. Sepultura has already revealed what the new album will sound like with the track "I Am The Enemy", which was released in December 2016. An absolute metal record that once again shows the Brazilians' hardness and technical finesse. For the recording of the new album, Derrick Leon Green (vocals), Andreas Kisser (electric guitar), Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr. (electric bass) and Eloy Casagrande (drums) went to Sweden this time, more precisely to Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden. There, none other than producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator, Haken, Amon Amarth) was behind the band's direction. The cover art for "Machine Messiah" was created by Filipino artist Camille Delle Rosa, who guitarist Andreas Kisser met while searching for possible candidates. In doing so, he came across her six-year-old painting "Deus Ex-Machina", which was a perfect fit for the theme, and so was chosen as the motif for the cover. With its new album in 2017, Sepultura adds another masterpiece to its already remarkable discography. "Machine Messiah" is loud, hard, virtuosic - as always.
