"You're Lovin' Me to Death" was released as a single and reached number one on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in the United States. "Send Me an Angel" was released as a single in Europe and reached number one in Spain. The album Classic Bites was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for shipping one million copies in the United States.
