It's been approximately 25 years since Roxette celebrated their breakthrough single "The Look" and catapulted to number one on the US Billboard singles chart in March 1989. Listen To Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love" and "Joyride" also became US hits and led to Roxette becoming one of the biggest pop bands of our time. With more than 75 million records sold and numerous hits, the Swedish duo is one of the bands that made music history in the 1990s and early 21st century. In 2016, Roxette will celebrate their 30th anniversary, which is why they called their big 2014/2015 world tour "The XXX". Anniversary Tour". Just in time for the European concerts, the spectacular best-of album "The 30 Biggest Hits: XXX" is released, bringing together all the hits and crowd favourites on two CDs. Marie Frederiksson and Per Gessle have gathered a total of 30 world famous hits for this successful compilation, leaving out no highlights. In addition to the aforementioned superhits "Listen To Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love" (from the Pretty Woman soundtrack) and "Joyride", "The 30 Biggest Hits: XXX" also includes songs like "Dressed For Success" and "Dangerous" from the album "Look Sharp!" from 1989 and "Fading Like A Flower (Every Time You Leave)" and "The Big L." from the groundbreaking 1991 album "Joyride", which catapulted to number one on the international album charts almost worldwide. The tracks "Queen Of Rain" and "How Do You Do" come from the album "Tourism" (1992), which also became an internationally successful number 1 album. "Sleeping In My Car" (here in the single version), "Run To You" and of course "Crash! Bomm! Bang!" (also in the single version) first appeared on the album "Crash!" from 1994. Bomm! Bang!" (Uk #1, D #2), while Stars comes from the 1999 album "Have A Nice Day". After the album "Room Service" (2001) and the songs "The Centre Of The Heart", "Milk And Toast And Honey" and Real Sugar, Roxette's career took an unexpected and sudden slowdown when Maria Frederiksson was diagnosed with a brain tumor. However, after a long and hard battle, she beat the cancer and reunited with Per Gessel in 2011 to start anew: With the album "Charm School" and the single "She's Got Nothing On (But The Radio)", Roxette immediately topped the world charts again: the album reached No. 1 in Germany and the single reached the Top 10. The following tour took them around the world twice - 1.5 million fans experienced them at a total of 153 concerts! Back in October 2014, XXX.
