Classics on vinyl Just one year after his last album "Collagically Speaking", Robert Glasper releases "Canvas", a classic from his catalogue, on a double LP. "Canvas" is Glasper's second album and his major label debut. It was originally released in 2005 on the renowned Blue Note label. He recorded a total of ten songs for it. With the exception of a cover version of Herbie Hancock's "Riot", he composed all the songs himself. In the studio he was musically supported by bassist Vicente Archer, drummer Damion Reid, saxophonist Mark Turner and soul singer Bilal.
