Waking Up - CD

The successful American band OneRepublic is finally back with a new album. All the songs on the new record are once again penned by the band's charismatic frontman Ryan Tedder. His incredible talent for writing hit songs is known worldwide, and besides the hits "Apologize" and "All I Need", he has also written a bunch of songs for his industry colleagues. As a songwriter, he has written hits for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson and Leona Lewis, for whom he wrote her biggest hit to date, "Bleeding Love". Of course, Ryan hasn't taken all his skills out on others, and so the new album "Waking Up" by his home band OneRepublic delivers more than one hit song on first listen. This is already confirmed by the pilot single "All The Right Moves", which is doing well on Czech radio, or the new single "Secrets", which has been a huge hit in neighbouring Germany and Austria for some weeks now, thanks to its use in the new film "Zweiohrküken", which stars the handsome Till Schweiger.Ryan Tedder could certainly be very proud of his band's success so far, which includes a Grammy nomination. However, he remains a humble boy and sticks to the motto "You're only as good as your worst song..."
