In 1985, Modern Talking released an album of the same name, which was a huge success. The album spawned the hits "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", "Cheri Cheri Lady", "Brother Louie" and "Atlantis Is Calling (S.O.S. for Love)". The album was a mix of pop and eurodance and for the time, it was the perfect mix. Modern Talking The sound of the album was fresh and new and all of their singles became huge hits. The album went platinum in Germany and gold in Austria and Switzerland. Modern Talking released several more albums, but their eponymous album remains their most successful.
