Reissue of the 1995 album on 180g heavy vinyl. After Moby provided the techno scene with one of the big hits of that phase overnight with the track "Go" and two compilations of his early work quickly hit the market, "Everything Is Wrong" was to be his first "real" album. Freshly signed to the Mute label, Moby proved to be a musician with a surprising number of faces. On the one hand there are dance anthems like the exaggerated "Feeling So Real" or the single "Every Time You Touch Me", on the other Moby surprised with ambient and filigree pop. "When It's Cold I'd Like To Die," featuring guest vocalist Mimi Goese, sounds like Moby has a particular appreciation for the early work of the 4AD label (Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance). With this deviation, he foresees a future career in which he should surprise even more often.
