Miroslav Žbirka released the album Miro in 2015. The album is a mixture of Žbirka's old and new music and includes the song "Nechaj ma ísť", which became a hit in Slovakia. Žbirka has been performing since the 1970s and has released over 20 albums.

MIRO is the name of the double-LP and double-CD that Miro Žbirka recorded in its entirety at Abbey Road studios. Miro Žbirka knows the way to the most famous music studio in the world - London's Abbey Road - by heart. At first, he headed there as a tourist, only dreaming of what it might be like....The story of the creation of the MIRO LP and CD began with a birthday present of a single track recorded at Studio 2 in Abbey Road, continued with a friendship with local producer Rob Cass, who is also behind the hit film Fair Play, and ended with a collaboration with such legends as Manfred Mann and Pete Brown on the latest MIRO double album. The English lyrics were written by Cream's court lyricist, beatnik and poet, author of many famous songs like "Sunshine Of Your Love" - Pete Brown. He was the one whose passion for the subject decided that the whole half of the album was recorded in English. On the Slovak part of the album, Miro Žbirka wrote the lyrics himself and two of them were lyrics by his long-time collaborator, poet and lyricist Kamil Peteraj: "After 25 years, my album is coming out again on a black vinyl record, and I am glad that I didn't throw away the gramophone. The song Prišla z Londýna has been in radio rotation all summer and the album is about to release another single with the song LIVE, this time with a video that has an unexpected director and an unexpected ending.
