When the BBC published a list of the young artists most likely to succeed this year at the end of last year, they certainly had no idea how soon their predictions would be confirmed. At the time, it put Mika, a 24-year-old singer with Lebanese roots, in the top spot. And here we are. This year's discovery has been topping the UK singles chart for more than a month with the hit single "Grace Kelly", and his album "Life In Cartoon Motion" has also reached the top immediately after its release. The music press is literally singing the album's praises, comparing Mika to stars such as Elton John, Prince, Scissor Sisters, Freddie Mercury and some even have him as the new Robbie Williams. The album is packed with rocking hits, but you can also find a piano ballad.
