The "Edition" includes works by many composers, including complete symphony cycles by Beethoven, Brahms and Mahler. The accompanying book complements the musical impressions with interesting texts and numerous photographs. Particularly valuable are the recordings of rehearsals by the master and his orchestra, which on three CDs provide a glimpse into the intimate artistic symbiosis that developed over many years of making music together and which so delighted audiences with outstanding concerts.
