The American singer with Italian roots LP, self-titled Laura Pergolizzi, is releasing her fifth album Heart To Mouth on December 7. "When I picked up the microphone and started singing the melodies, I felt a straight line coming from my heart and leading to my mouth. In the past, I felt like I had a city full of streets in my head that were clamoring for my attention. Now I feel like I have my own highway through which I express emotion. Whether it's the sadder songs or the happier anthems, they all come from the same place," comments the LP. Two singles have been released from the album so far - the earlier Girls Go Wild and the current latest Recovery.Since the release of her fourth album Lost On You last May, LP has been on tour almost non-stop, consisting of sold out shows and appearances at the world's biggest festivals such as Coachella, Mad Cool and Outside Lands. The eponymous title track has racked up half a billion streams and gone platinum in five countries. The LP itself went on to become a critics' favourite in leading magazines such as Billboard, Interview, The Guardian, British Vogue and many more.
