It's time: the second Liam Gallagher solo album is in the starting blocks for 2019. "Why Me? Why Not." is the name of the new album from the British singer, musician, former Oasis member and Beady Eye frontman. It was only two years ago that the younger of the Gallagher brothers released his solo debut, "As You Were," which reached number one in the UK charts. A year later, he began work on a book, Why Me? Why Not". As with the previous album, production was handled by Greg Kurstin (Adele, Foo Fighters) and Andrew Wyatt (Mark Ronson, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars). The album also features a special guest: Gallagher's son Gene plays the bongos on the song "One Of Us". With the singles "Shockwave" and "The River", the Britpop icon has already brought two tasters of "Why Me? Why Not.". And they show that Liam is betting on harder and edgier tones this time around.
