To celebrate the life's work of the multiple Grammy and Academy Award® winner, international stars such as 2CELLOS, Lindsey Stirling, The Piano Guys, Alexis Ffrench, Tina Guo, Amy Dickson and Lavinia Meijer have recorded some of his greatest hits with the Czech Philharmonic. These include masterful film music from "Titanic", "Avatar", "Apollo 13", "The Amazing Spider-Man", "Braveheart", "The Ludlows", "Troy", "Willow", "Legends of the Fall" and "Legends of Passion". The songs were newly arranged for the album "James Horner - The Classics". Horner is considered a genius among film music composers. Through the unusual use of classical and folk instruments he has created his own unmistakable sound worlds. His melodies have conquered the pop charts; his hit "My Heart will go on" with Celine Dion, performed here by 2CELLOS, remains unforgettable. Over the course of his career until his tragic death in 2015, Horner composed music for more than 100 Hollywood films.
