Matthew Halsall's Gondwana label presents for the eighth time a new musical mystery from Manchester, the great piano trio GoGo Penguin. Featuring pianist Chris Illingworth, bassist Grant Russell and drummer Rob Turner (all still in their early twenties), GoGo Penguin go into ecstasy with a heady mix of influences from Aphex Twin, Brian Eno, Debussy, Shostakovich and Massive Attack.
