FLEETWOOD MAC'S LEGENDARY THIRTEEN NIGHT PERFORMANCE AT THE BOSTON TEA PARTY COMES FIRST ON VINYL BOX "Boston" is a 4LP box set that collects live recordings from earlier in the band's colorful history. The set features the classic blues line-up of Mick Fleetwood, Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, John McVie and Jeremy Spencer. These recordings were originally made during three nights in February 1970 at Boston's Tea Party Club for a planned release later that year, but remained unreleased after leader Peter Green's sudden decision to leave the band a few weeks after these shows. Tracks from the concerts were eventually released in various forms in the mid-1980s, but these releases were marred by poor sound sources. The discovery of the original eight-track tapes and a number of previously unreleased tracks in the late 1990s allowed the material to be re-mixed, remastered and substantially reworked for release on three separate CD volumes. This new set brings all of these remastered recordings together for the first time as a 4LP box set, providing a complete document of these historic concerts. The collection also includes a four-page booklet with extensive sleevenotes and period photographs.
