The brilliant new release was mixed by Tue Madsen (Himsa, The Haunted) and combines all the elements that have always defined the band: Deep lyrics, massive and refined guitar work, haunting melodies and aggressive brutality. The new album could be described as a modern take on the classic albums "The Gallery" and "The Mind's I", but one that surprises with an increased intensity and represents a new definition of melodic death metal!DARK TRANQUILLITY still holds an exceptional position in the metal scene today, as they were co-founders of a completely new death metal genre in the early 90's, commonly referred to as "Gothenburg Sound". Their last album "Character" was hailed by media and fans alike as the band's most dynamic and furious effort. The band will of course present "Fiction" live on stages around the world.
