After Jamie Mathias joined the band three years ago as bassist and backing vocalist, another new member followed in 2017: Michael Thomas was replaced on drums by Jason Bowld. Matthew Tuck (vocals, guitar) and Michael Paget (guitar, backing vocals) complete the line-up. With the personnel changes, the British metalcore combo has also evolved musically. The usual heavy metal riffs are joined by synths in "Gravity", creating truly atmospheric soundscapes. This development doesn't seem strange at all, though. On the contrary, Bullet For My Valentine are once again becoming one of the most innovative and interesting bands of their genre. You can now take home the proof with the "Gravity" app.
