Suck It and See is the fourth studio album by English indie rock band Arctic Monkeys , released in 2011. The album was produced by long-time collaborator James Ford and was recorded in various London studios. The title of the album was announced in February 2011 and the band later released the track list and artwork in March. The album was released on 6 June 2011 in the United Kingdom and 7 June 2011 in the United States. The first single from the album, "Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair", was released on 11 April 2011. The second single from the album, "The Hellcat Spangled Shalala", was released on 3 July 2011. The third single from the album, "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor", was released on October 18, 2011. The album Suck It and See received universally positive reviews from music critics. On Metacritic, which assigns a normalized score out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 73, indicating a "generally favorable rating". Ian Wade of BBC Music said: "Suck It and See is soaring. It's not an album for instant gratification, but one that reveals its charms on repeated listens.
