The recording features a wide selection of Williams' famous film themes arranged and conducted by the composer himself. The album features themes from Star Wars ("Rey's Theme" from The Force Awakens, "Princess Leia's Theme" from A New Hope) and more recent compositions ("Sayuri's Theme" from The Geisha and "Hedwig's Theme" from Harry Potter). The music was recorded in April 2019 with The Recording Arts Orchestra of Los Angeles at the famed Sony Scoring Stage. Anne-Sophie Mutter, a four-time Grammy Award winner and one of the world's finest violinists today, says it is a "huge honor" to work with five-time Academy Award winner and 24-time Grammy Award winner John Williams.
