Recorded in Denmark with longtime collaborator Jacob Hansen, Manifest is an album of diverse moods and textures, immense power and aggression, and exquisite beauty. This bold blending of disparate elements has always been part of Amaranthe's ethos, but on their sixth album the band shows a heightened sense of lyrical and conceptual substance. In songs that touch on everything from impending climate catastrophe to theistic mythology, Olof and Elize truly blossom as commentators on the trials and tribulations of humanity.
