Netflix's adaptation of author J.D. Vance's successful novel Hillbilly Elegy continues the collaboration between director Ron Howard and Hans Zimmer. Zimmer has scored several of Ron Howard's films. He is responsible for the films Rush and The Da Vinci Code, among others. For the soundtrack of "Hillbilly Elegy" Zimmer collaborates with composer David Fleming and incorporates American borrowings into his large orchestral sound world. Hillbilly Elegy" is the story of a young couple who want to live their personal American dream in the rust belt of the USA. Howard has cast his film with a great cast including Haley Bennett, Amy Adams, Glenn Close and Freida Pinto.
